John Skene, 3rd of Hallyards1
On 24 May 1653 he was served heir to his father.2 He was recognised by Lord Lyon King of Arms, and matriculated his arms at the Lyons Court in 1672.2 He purchased Pitlour in 1683 from Patrick Pitcairn of Pitlour.2

Sir Alexander Skene, 2nd of Hallyards1 
On 18 January 1628 he received a Crown charter in the Parish of Auchtertule, Fife.2 He was Servitor to Sir John Skene, Lord Clerk Register.2 He was appointed Knight in 1641.1 He lived at Hallyards, Fife, Scotland.1
