     Reverend Edmund Maturin was born on 1 December 1819.² He was the son of Reverend Henry Maturin.³ He married Elizabeth Catherine Persse, daughter of Dominick Persse and Katherine Henderson, on 24 December 1844 at Ramelton, County Donegal, Ireland.^1,2 He died on 21 November 1891 at age 71.²

     Catherine Maturin was born on 18 March 1848.² She was the daughter of Reverend Edmund Maturin and Elizabeth Catherine Persse.^3,2 She married Dominick Dudley Persse, son of Henderson Persse and Elizabeth McGhee, on 30 March 1880.¹ She died on 25 March 1932 at age 84.¹
     From 30 March 1880, her married name became Persse.

     Dudley Persse was born on 3 April 1884 at Londonderry, County Londonderry, Ireland.² He was the son of Dominick Dudley Persse and Catherine Maturin.³ He died on 19 May 1946 at age 62 at Ireland, unmarried.²

     Edmund Maturin Persse was born on 2 October 1890.¹ He was the son of Dominick Dudley Persse and Catherine Maturin.² He married Kathleen Mary Persse, daughter of Major William Arthur Persse and Katherine Ellen Gehle, on 6 June 1931.¹ He died on 25 October 1964 at age 74.¹
     He was educated at Bedford Modern School, Bedford, Bedfordshire, England^G.¹ He fought in the First World War.¹ He gained the rank of Captain in the West Yorkshire Regiment.¹ He was awarded the Military Cross (M.C.) in 1918.¹ He was with the Colonial Civil Service.¹ He was Administration Officer between 1919 and 1945 at Uganda.¹ He was District Commisioner in 1925.¹ He fought in the Second World War, with Uganda Def Force.¹ He wrote the book Ethnological Notes on the Karimojong.¹ He wrote the book The Bagwe, Ethnological Notes and some Folk Tales.¹ He lived at The Bridge House, Hillcrest Road, Hythe, Kent, England.¹

     Elizabeth Ann Persse was born on 11 July 1932.¹ She was the daughter of Edmund Maturin Persse and Kathleen Mary Persse.² She married Derrick Speight.¹ She died on 6 March 2019 at age 86.³
     Her married name became Speight.

     Derrick Speight was born on 2 April 1926 at Batley, Yorkshire, England.² He married Elizabeth Ann Persse, daughter of Edmund Maturin Persse and Kathleen Mary Persse.¹ He died on 20 December 2009 at age 83.²
     He was educated at London School of Economics and Political Science, London, England.² He was senior personnel executive, Marks & Spencer between 1975 and 1987.² He lived in 1976 at Upstream, Trout Rise, Loudwater, Hertfordshire, England.¹ He was chairman of the Magic Circle council.²

     Patricia Mary Persse was born on 29 December 1933.¹ She is the daughter of Edmund Maturin Persse and Kathleen Mary Persse.² She married Douglas Garland.¹
     Her married name became Garland.

     Douglas Garland married Patricia Mary Persse, daughter of Edmund Maturin Persse and Kathleen Mary Persse.¹
     He lived in 1976 at 8 Ranelagh Avenue, Barnes, London, England.¹

     Caroline Elizabeth Persse was born on 5 February 1881.¹ She was the daughter of Dominick Dudley Persse and Catherine Maturin.²

     From 15 May 1916, her married name became Foy.
