Reverend William Garden Blaikie was born on 5 February 1820 at Aberdeen, Aberdeenshire, ScotlandG.2 He was the son of James Ogilvie Blaikie and Jane Garden.2,1 He married Margaret Catherine Biggar, daughter of Walter Biggar and Anne Duff, on 20 May 1845 at Pilrig, ScotlandG.1 He died on 11 June 1899 at age 79.2
