Richard John Bingham, 7th Earl of Lucan was born on 18 December 1934.1 He was the son of George Charles Patrick Bingham, 6th Earl of Lucan and Kaitlin Elizabeth Anne Dawson.1 He married Veronica Mary Duncan, daughter of Major Charles Moorhouse Duncan and Thelma Winifred Watts, on 28 November 1963.1 He died after November 1974, when he went missing after murdering the family’s nanny.1
He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, EnglandG.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Coldstream Guards.1 He succeeded as the 13th Baronet Bingham, of Castlebar, co. Mayo [N.S., 1634] on 21 January 1964.1 He succeeded as the 7th Earl of Lucan [I., 1795] on 21 January 1964.1 He succeeded as the 3rd Baron Bingham, of Melcombe Bingham, co. Dorset [U.K., 1934] on 21 January 1964.1 On 11 December 1992 he was declared legally deceased by the High Court, Chancery Division.1 On 3 February 2016 a presumption of death certificate was granted.3

Hon. John Edward Bingham was born on 29 February 1904.1 He was the son of George Charles Bingham, 5th Earl of Lucan and Violet Sylvia Blanche Spender Clay.1 He married Dorothea Blanche Delacour Chatfield, daughter of Reverend John Kyrle Chatfield, on 7 November 1942.1 He died in September 1992 at age 88 at Hastings, Sussex, England.2
He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, EnglandG.1 He was awarded the Territorial Decoration (T.D.)1 He graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, EnglandG, in 1925 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)1 He gained the rank of Major in the Army Air Corps, Territorial Army Reserve.1 He fought in the Second World War, in North Africa, with the Derbyshire Yeomanry and Special Air Service.1
