     Elizabeth Basset was born circa 1721.¹ She was the daughter of Francis Basset and Mary Pendarves.¹ She died circa 1744.¹

     Richard Bassett was born on 21 June 1820 at Welsh St. Donats, Glamorgan, Wales.¹ He married Ann Maria Homfray, daughter of John Homfray and Ann Maria Richards, on 24 October 1843 at Llandaff Cathedral, Cardiff, Glamorgan, Wales.¹ He married, secondly, Honor Georgina Fortescue, daughter of William Blundell Fortescue and Harriett Maria Taylor, on 25 May 1858 at Newton Abbot, Devon, England.² He died on 17 January 1891 at age 70 at East Woodhay, Hampshire, England.¹
     He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)² He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.)² He was given the name of Richard Bassett at birth.² He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Glamorgan.¹

     Ann Maria Homfray was born before 21 August 1821 at Cardiff, Glamorgan, Wales.² She was the daughter of John Homfray and Ann Maria Richards.¹ She married Richard Bassett on 24 October 1843 at Llandaff Cathedral, Cardiff, Glamorgan, Wales.¹ She died before 1857.²
     From 24 October 1843, her married name became Bassett.²

     Robert Lundie of Benholm is the son of Sir John Lundie of that Ilk and Elizabeth Forrester.¹ He married Isobel Erskine, daughter of John Erskine, 3rd of Dun and Mariota Graham, circa 1475.¹

     Edith Mary Kay Muir was the daughter of Sir John Muir of Deanston, 1st Bt. and Margaret Morrison Kay.² She died on 28 April 1909, unmarried.¹

     Catherine Hetherington Muir was the daughter of Sir John Muir of Deanston, 1st Bt. and Margaret Morrison Kay.² She married an unknown person on 7 March 1905.¹ She married Lt.-Col. Stephen Hungerford Pollen, son of John Hungerford Pollen and Maria Margaret Primaudaye, on 7 March 1905.² She died on 11 July 1954.²
     From 7 March 1905, her married name became Pollen.²
