     He was educated at Radley College, Abingdon, Oxfordshire, England.¹ He gained the rank of Flying Officer between 1943 and 1946 in the Royal Air Force.¹ He graduated from New College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, in 1948 with a Master of Arts (M.A.)¹ He graduated from New College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, with a Bachelor of Medicine (N.M.)⁴ He graduated from New College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, in 1951 with a Bachelor of Surgery (B.Ch.)¹ He was a practising House Physician and House Surgeon between 1951 and 1952 at Middlesex Hospital, London, England.⁴ He was registered as a Member, Royal College of General Practitioners (M.R.C.G.P.) in 1958.⁴ He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Mott, of Ditchling, co. Sussex [U.K., 1930] on 23 May 1964.¹ He was Regional Medical Officer, DHSS between 1969 and 1984.¹ He lived in 2003 at Staniford, Brookside, Kingsley, Cheshire, England^G.¹

     Hugh Carson lived at Harborne, Birmingham, Warwickshire, England.¹ He was appointed Fellow, Royal College of Surgeons (F.R.C.S.)¹

     Elizabeth Carson is the daughter of Hugh Carson.² She married Sir John Harmar Mott, 3rd Bt., son of Sir Adrian Spear Mott, 2nd Bt. and Mary Katherine Stanton, on 24 November 1950.¹
     From 24 November 1950, her married name became Mott.

     Dr. Sir David Hugh Mott, 4th Bt. was born on 1 May 1952.¹ He is the son of Sir John Harmar Mott, 3rd Bt. and Elizabeth Carson.² He married Amanda Jane Fryer, daughter of Lt.-Cdr. Douglas William Patrick Fryer, in 1980.¹
     He was educated at Shrewsbury School, Shrewsbury, Shropshire, England.¹ He graduated from Sussex University, Brighton, Sussex, England^G, with a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.)¹ He graduated from Birkbeck College, University of London, London, England^G, with a Master of Science (M.Sc.)¹ He graduated from Queen Mary College, London University, London, England, with a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.)¹ He succeeded as the 4th Baronet Mott, of Ditchling, co. Sussex [U.K., 1930] on 15 May 2015.³

     Lt.-Cdr. Douglas William Patrick Fryer was born circa 1922.² He died on 5 June 2010.²
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Commander in the Royal Navy.¹

     Amanda Jane Fryer is the daughter of Lt.-Cdr. Douglas William Patrick Fryer.² She married Dr. Sir David Hugh Mott, 4th Bt., son of Sir John Harmar Mott, 3rd Bt. and Elizabeth Carson, in 1980.¹
     From 1980, her married name became Mott.

     Matthew David Mott was born in 1982.¹ He is the son of Dr. Sir David Hugh Mott, 4th Bt. and Amanda Jane Fryer.²
