     He was educated at St. Peter’s School, York, Yorkshire, England.¹ He gained the rank of officer in the Royal Air Force.¹ He lived in 2003 at 2 Earswick Village, York, Yorkshire, England.¹

     Jane Elliot was born on 23 September 1943.¹ She is the daughter of Gilbert Cecil Ninian Elliot and Rosamond Cholmley.¹ She married, firstly, Major Iain Alastair McKay, son of G. F. McKay, on 9 January 1963.¹ She and Major Iain Alastair McKay were divorced in 1985.¹ She married, secondly, David Ewart in 1994.¹
     From 9 January 1963, her married name became McKay.¹ From 1994, her married name became Ewart.¹ She lived in 2003 at Court Hill House, Potterne, Wiltshire, England.¹

     Lorna Elliot was born on 19 April 1945.¹ She is the daughter of Gilbert Cecil Ninian Elliot and Rosamond Cholmley.¹ She married John Edward Clive, son of Edward Clive, on 23 September 1967.¹ She and John Edward Clive were divorced in 1991.¹
     From 23 September 1967, her married name became Clive.¹ She lived in 2003 at Foxhanger Cottage, Priorsfield Road, Godalming, Surrey, England.¹

     Daphne Patricia Elliot was born on 26 February 1917.¹ She is the daughter of Gilbert Augustus Elliot and Phyllis Baret Stokes.¹ She married Godfrey Carrington Royle, son of Vernon P. Royle, on 12 November 1949.¹
     Her married name became Royle. She lived in 2003 at Home Farm, Balscote, Oxfordshire, England.¹

     Godfrey Carrington Royle is the son of Vernon P. Royle.¹ He married Daphne Patricia Elliot, daughter of Gilbert Augustus Elliot and Phyllis Baret Stokes, on 12 November 1949.¹
     He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Artillery (TA.)¹

     Vernon P. Royle died before 1963.
     He lived at Stanmore Lodge, Lancaster, Lancashire, England^G.¹

     Amelia Jane Elliot was the daughter of Hon. John Edmund Elliot and Amelia Casamaijor.¹ She married Thomas Campbell Robertson, son of Captain George Robertson and Ann Lewis, on 24 November 1830.^1,2 She died on 19 June 1837.¹
     From 24 November 1830, her married name became Robertson.

     Thomas Campbell Robertson was born on 9 November 1789 at Kenilworth, Warwickshire, England.² He was the son of Captain George Robertson and Ann Lewis.² He married Amelia Jane Elliot, daughter of Hon. John Edmund Elliot and Amelia Casamaijor, on 24 November 1830.^1,2 He died on 5 July 1863 at age 73.¹

     Anna Maria Elizabeth Elliot was born in 1812 at India.² She was the daughter of Hon. John Edmund Elliot and Amelia Casamaijor.¹ She married Pierce Gilbert Edward Taylor, son of Maj.-Gen. Thomas William Taylor and Anne Harvey Petrie, on 18 May 1865.¹ She died on 8 November 1883.¹
     Her married name became Taylor.
