     Herwald Molyneux Sitwell Wake was born on 10 April 1917.¹ He was the son of Herwald Wake and Katherine Frances Margaret Hutton.² He died on 31 December 1942 at age 25 at Egypt, on active service.¹
     He fought in the Second World War.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Royal Signals.¹

     Richard Frederick Robert Wake was born on 24 September 1865.¹ He was the son of Herwald Craufurd Wake and Charlotte Lucy Hurt Sitwell.² He died on 7 December 1888 at age 23 at Egypt, killed while a war correspondent.¹

     Lt.-Col. Edward Baldwin Wake was born on 14 December 1833.¹ He was the son of Sir Charles Wake, 10th Bt. and Charlotte Tait.² He married, firstly, Mary Mangles, daughter of Ross Donnelly Mangles and Harriet Newcome, on 26 January 1861 at Stoke-next-Guildford, Surrey, England.^1,3 He married, secondly, Ellen Mary Nethercote, daughter of Henry Osmond Nethercote and Charlotte Frances Allix, on 19 August 1871.¹ He died on 7 August 1883 at age 49, from accidentally drinking too much chloroform.^1,3
     He gained the rank of Cornet in 1853 in the 3rd European Light Cavalry, Bengal Army.³ He gained the rank of Captain in July 1862 in the 21st Hussars.³ He gained the rank of Brevet-Major in July 1876.³ He gained the rank of Major in December 1877.³ He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in May 1878 in the 21st Hussars.¹

     Ross Lewis Mangles, V.C. is the son of Ross Donnelly Mangles and Harriet Newcome.¹ He married Henrietta Anne More-Molyneux, daughter of James More-Molyneux and Caroline Isabella Lowndes-Stone-Norton.²
     He was awarded the Victoria Cross (V.C.)¹

     Mary Mangles was born on 2 March 1832 at Calcutta, Bengal, India.² She was the daughter of Ross Donnelly Mangles and Harriet Newcome.^3,4 She was baptised on 24 March 1832 at Calcutta, Bengal, India.² She married Lt.-Col. Edward Baldwin Wake, son of Sir Charles Wake, 10th Bt. and Charlotte Tait, on 26 January 1861 at Stoke-next-Guildford, Surrey, England.^1,2 She died on 10 December 1868 at age 36, on board H.M.S. Euphrates between Aden and Suez.^1,2
     From 26 January 1861, her married name became Wake.

     Gerald Baldwin Wake was born on 29 November 1862.¹ He was the son of Lt.-Col. Edward Baldwin Wake and Mary Mangles.² He was baptised on 21 December 1862 at India.³ He married Violet Alice Froom, daughter of Henry Froom and Elizabeth Roche, on 17 March 1909.¹ He died in 1919.¹
     He fought in the Boer War between 1899 and 1902.¹

     Henry Froom was born circa 1837.² He married Elizabeth Roche in 1866 at Kensington, London, England.²
     He lived at Isleworth, London, England.¹ He was member of the London Stock Exchange.²

     Violet Alice Froom was born in 1876 at Upper Norwood, London, England.² She was the daughter of Henry Froom and Elizabeth Roche.^3,2 She married Gerald Baldwin Wake, son of Lt.-Col. Edward Baldwin Wake and Mary Mangles, on 17 March 1909.¹
     From 17 March 1909, her married name became Wake.

     Mildred Emily Baldwin Wake was born on 8 January 1866.² She was the daughter of Lt.-Col. Edward Baldwin Wake and Mary Mangles.³ She was baptised on 11 March 1866 at Umballa, Bengal, India.² She married Archibald Cameron Norman on 4 March 1890.¹ She died on 14 September 1940 at age 74.¹
     From 4 March 1890, her married name became Norman.

     Archibald Cameron Norman married Mildred Emily Baldwin Wake, daughter of Lt.-Col. Edward Baldwin Wake and Mary Mangles, on 4 March 1890.¹ He died on 2 August 1948.¹
     He lived at Bromley Common, Kent, England.¹
