     John Macnab of Macnab, 9th Chief was the son of Finlay Macnab of Macnab, 8th Chief and Mariot Campbell.2 He married Eleyn Stuart.1 He died before 10 July 1558.1

     Finlay Macnab of Macnab, 10th Chief is the son of John Macnab of Macnab, 9th Chief and Eleyn Stuart.2 A contract for the marriage of Finlay Macnab of Macnab, 10th Chief and Katryne Campbell was signed on 13 March 1547/48.1

Katryne Campbell1

     Katryne Campbell was born illegitimately.1 She was the daughter of Sir John Campbell of Glenorchy.2 A contract for the marriage of Katryne Campbell and Finlay Macnab of Macnab, 10th Chief was signed on 13 March 1547/48.1 She died in 1573/74.1 She was buried in 1573/74 at Isle of Inchbuie, Scotland.1
     From 13 March 1547/48, her married name became Macnab.

     Finlay Macnab of Macnab, 12th Chief was the son of Alexander Macnab of Macnab, 11th Chief.2 He married, firstly, Katherine Campbell, daughter of Sir Duncan Campbell of Glenorchy, 1st Bt..1 He married, secondly, unknown wife (?)1 He died after 28 July 1656.1
     He held the position of 12th Chief of the Clan Macnab from before 20 November 1601.1

     Patrick Macnab is the son of Alexander Macnab of Macnab, 11th Chief.2 He married unknown Buchanan.1
     He was ancestor of the Newton and French and also probably the Epping branches of the Clan.1 In 1613 he surrendered Bovain and Wester Ardnagaul to his brother.1
