     Finlay Macnab of Macnab, 8th Chief was the son of John Macnab of Macnab, 7th Chief.2 He married Mariot Campbell.1 He died on 13 April 1525 at Ellanryne, Scotland.1 He was buried at Killin, Scotland.1
     On 5 January 1502/3 he received Ewer and Leiragen, resigned by Patrick M’nabe of Monzie.1 On 9 January 1502/3 he had a crown charter for the same.1 On 18 January 1522/23 he gave a charter of the same to hius wife.1
