     She was educated at North London Collegiate School, London, England.¹ She graduated from Barnard College, Columbia University, Manhattan, New York City, New York, U.S.A.^G, with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)¹ From 17 May 1971, her married name became Neumann.

     R. Michael Neumann is the son of Leopold Neumann.¹ He married Mary Charlotte Gifford, daughter of Charles Henry Pearson Gifford and Margaret Laetitia Lyell, on 17 May 1971.¹

     Hon. Mary Leonora Lyell was the daughter of Leonard Lyell, 1st Baron Lyell and Mary Stirling.² She married Arthur Pierson on 9 October 1912.¹ She died on 18 February 1916.¹
     From 9 October 1912, her married name became Pierson.

     From 5 January 1904, her married name became Langman.

     Sir Archibald Lawrence Langman, 2nd Bt. was born on 2 September 1872.² He was the son of Sir John Lawrence Langman, 1st Bt. and Mary Hannah Marks.² He married Hon. Eleanor Katherine Lyell, daughter of Leonard Lyell, 1st Baron Lyell and Mary Stirling, on 5 January 1904.¹ He died on 9 December 1949 at age 77.²
     He was served with Langman Field Hospital during the Boer War between 1899 and 1900.² He gained the rank of Major in the Middlesext Yeomanry.² He was appointed Companion, Order of St. Michael and St. George (C.M.G.) in 1902.¹ He gained the rank of Major in the North Somerset Yeomanry.² He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Somerset.² He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Somerset.² He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Langman, of Eaton Square, in the City of Westminster [U.K., 1906] on 3 October 1928.¹ He held the office of High Sheriff of Somerset in 1938.² He was appointed Officer, Most Venerable Order of the Hospital of St. John of Jerusalem (O.St.J.)²

     John Acheson Spaul was born on 10 October 1906 at Queensland, Australia^G.¹ He is the son of Francis Rawdon Moira Crozier Spaul and Edith Frances Innes Philpot.¹
