     Lt.-Col. Benjamin Geale Humfrey was the son of John Keys Humfrey. He married Emily Annie Knox, daughter of William Knox and Gertrude Dabine, on 15 February 1885.¹ He died on 5 May 1912.¹
     He lived at Cavanacor, County Donegal, Ireland^G.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Leicester Regiment.¹

     William Knox was born in 1813.¹ He was the son of Reverend William Knox and Sarah Ferguson.² He married, firstly, Gertrude Dabine, daughter of Thomas Dabine, in 1853.¹ He married, secondly, Mary Isabella Frend, daughter of Benjamin Frend and Elizabeth Gough, on 11 July 1862.¹ He died on 27 October 1867.¹
     He was with the Madras Civil Service.¹

     Benjamin Frend was baptised on 5 August 1778 at St. John’s, Limerick, County Limerick, Ireland^G.² He was the son of Benjamin Frend and Arabella Purdon.³ He married Elizabeth Gough, daughter of Lt.-Col. George Gough and Letitia Bunbury, on 22 March 1810.² He died in January 1858 at age 79.²
     He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for County Limerick.² He lived at Rocklow, County Tipperary, Ireland^G.² He lived at Boskill, County Limerick, Ireland^G.²

     Mary Isabella Frend was the daughter of Benjamin Frend and Elizabeth Gough.^2,3 She married William Knox, son of Reverend William Knox and Sarah Ferguson, on 11 July 1862.¹ She died in February 1914.¹
     From 11 July 1862, her married name became Knox.

     Harriet Manning was born on 1 October 1777 at Kingsbridge, Devon, England^G.¹ She married Acheson Crozier, son of Major Acheson Johnston Crozier and Jemima Wyse, on 17 April 1821 at Kingsbridge, Devon, England^G.¹ She died in 1860 at Kingsbridge, Devon, England^G.¹
     From 17 April 1821, her married name became Crozier.¹

     Maria Jeffery was born in 1829 at Kingsbridge, Devon, England^G.¹ She died in 1895 at Rockhampton, Queensland, Australia^G.¹
     Her married name became Spaul.¹

     Francis Rawdon Moira Crozier Spaul was born illegitimately on 12 September 1862 at Stoke Damerel, Devon, England^G.¹ He was the son of Acheson Crozier and Maria Jeffery.¹ He married Edith Frances Innes Philpot, daughter of Sidney Cowper Philpot and Ellen Palmer Witherden, on 15 July 1896 at Rockhampton, Queensland, Australia^G.¹ He died in 1945 at Rockhampton, Queensland, Australia^G.¹

     Edith Frances Innes Philpot was born on 18 May 1868 at Mudgee, New South Wales, Australia^G.¹ She was the daughter of Sidney Cowper Philpot and Ellen Palmer Witherden.² She married Francis Rawdon Moira Crozier Spaul, son of Acheson Crozier and Maria Jeffery, on 15 July 1896 at Rockhampton, Queensland, Australia^G.¹ She died on 4 March 1958 at age 89 at Rockhampton, Queensland, Australia^G.¹
     From 15 July 1896, her married name became Spaul.¹

     Cecilia Killigrew was born in 1635.¹ She was the daughter of Sir William Killigrew and Mary Hill.¹
