     Lady Helen Boyle was the daughter of John Boyle, 2nd Earl of Glasgow and Helen Morison. She married Rear-Admiral Sir James Douglas, 1st Bt., son of George Douglas, 7th of Friarshaw and Elizabeth Scott, on 5 November 1768.¹ She died on 17 October 1794.¹
     Her married name became Douglas.

     Rear-Admiral Sir James Douglas, 1st Bt. was the son of George Douglas, 7th of Friarshaw and Elizabeth Scott.¹ He married, firstly, Helen Brisbane, daughter of Thomas Brisbane of Brisbane and Isabella Nicolson, in 1753.¹ He married, secondly, Lady Helen Boyle, daughter of John Boyle, 2nd Earl of Glasgow and Helen Morison, on 5 November 1768.¹ He died on 2 November 1787.
     He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Orkney and Shetland between 1754 and 1768.¹ He was appointed Knight in 1759 for bearing home the dispatch of the surrender of Quebec.¹ He was commander of the a fleet at the Leeward Islands in 1761.¹ He gained the rank of Rear-Admiral of the White.¹ He was created 1st Baronet Douglas, of Springwood Park, co. Roxburgh [Nova Scotia] on 27 June 1786.¹

     Helen Brisbane was the daughter of Thomas Brisbane of Brisbane and Isabella Nicolson.¹ She married Rear-Admiral Sir James Douglas, 1st Bt., son of George Douglas, 7th of Friarshaw and Elizabeth Scott, in 1753.² She died on 20 March 1766.²
     Her married name became Douglas.

     William Herbert was the son of Richard Herbert and Magdalen Newport.¹ He died, young.¹
     He was a soldier in Denmark and the Low Countries.¹

     Lt.-Col. William Charlton was born on 1 May 1761.¹ He was the son of St. John Charlton and Mary Tampsit.² He married Catherine Grierson on 22 April 1796.¹ He died on 14 January 1838 at age 76.¹
     He held the office of High Sheriff of Shropshire in 1807.¹ He lived at Apley Castle, Shropshire, England^G.²

     Catherine Grierson married, firstly, Thomas Thomason. She married, secondly, Lt.-Col. William Charlton, son of St. John Charlton and Mary Tampsit, on 22 April 1796.¹ She died on 12 February 1839.¹
     Her married name became Thomason.² She lived at York, Yorkshire, England.¹ Her married name became Charlton.

     Reverend W. J. Blake married Maria Lubbock, daughter of William Lubbock and Anne Woodrow, on 11 June 1811.² He died on 23 October 1857.²

     St. John Charlton was born in April 1760.¹ He was the son of St. John Charlton and Mary Tampsit.² He married Charlotte Payne, daughter of James Payne, on 22 December 1781.¹ He died on 3 October 1802 at age 42.¹
     He held the office of High Sheriff of Shropshire in 1790.¹ He lived at Apley Castle, Wellington, Shropshire, England.¹

     St. John Charlton was born in 1733.¹ He was the son of unknown Charlton.² He married Mary Tampsit on 26 January 1759.¹ He died on 27 January 1776.¹
     He held the office of High Sheriff of Shropshire in 1757.¹ He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.)² He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)¹ He lived at Apley Castle, Wellington, Shropshire, England.¹

     Charlotte Payne was the daughter of James Payne.² She married St. John Charlton, son of St. John Charlton and Mary Tampsit, on 22 December 1781.¹ She died on 31 October 1814.¹
     Her married name became Charlton.
