     Dorothy Charlton was the daughter of Sir Job Charlton, 1st Bt. and Dorothy Blunden.² She married Sir Edward Leighton, 1st Bt., son of Robert Leighton and Gertrude Baldwyn, in 1679.¹ She died in 1688.¹

     Sarah Lawrence was born circa 1723.¹ She married, firstly, Samuel Gurney, son of Joseph Gurney and Hannah Middleton, on 3 April 1755 at Norwich, Norfolk, England.¹ She married, secondly, Thomas Bland on 2 March 1775 at Tasbargh, Norwich, Norfolk, England.¹ She died on 14 September 1800 at Norwich, Norfolk, England.¹
     From 3 April 1755, her married name became Gurney.² From 2 March 1775, her married name became Bland.¹
