     William Fownes Somerville was born in 1851 at Dinder, Somerset, England.² He was the son of James Curtis Somerville and Emily Periam Hood.^3,2 He married Bertha Eveline Tancred, daughter of Sir Thomas Tancred, 7th Bt. and Jane Selby, on 23 October 1878.¹ He died on 15 January 1910 at Wells, Somerset, England.⁴
     He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.)¹

     Mary Harriet Hemans was born in 1845 at Westminster, London, England.² She was the daughter of Colonel George Willoughby Hemans.³ She married Sir Thomas Selby Tancred, 8th Bt., son of Sir Thomas Tancred, 7th Bt. and Jane Selby, on 1 May 1866.¹ She died on 26 May 1918 at Paddington, London, England.^1,2
     From 1 May 1866, her married name became Tancred.

     Sir Thomas Selby Lawson-Tancred, 9th Bt. was born on 14 May 1870 at Westminster, London, England.^1,2 He was the son of Sir Thomas Selby Tancred, 8th Bt. and Mary Harriet Hemans.³ He married Margery Elinor Lawson, daughter of Andrew Sherlock Lawson and Hon. Elinor Frances Butler, on 25 April 1912.¹ He died on 15 December 1945 at age 75.¹
     He was given the name of Thomas Selby Tancred at birth.¹ He fought in the Miranzai Expedition in 1891.¹ He succeeded as the 9th Baronet Tancred, of Boroughbridge, co. York [E., 1662] on 11 April 1910.¹ He gained the rank of Major in the Central India Horse, Indian Army.¹ He fought in the First World War.¹ In November 1914 his name was legally changed to Thomas Selby Lawson-Tancred by Deed Poll.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for the West Riding, Yorkshire.¹

     Francis Willoughby Tancred was born on 21 February 1874 at New Zealand.¹ He was the son of Sir Thomas Selby Tancred, 8th Bt. and Mary Harriet Hemans.² He died on 25 November 1925 at age 51 at Hackney, London, England.^1,3

     Felicia Harriet Tancred was the daughter of Sir Thomas Selby Tancred, 8th Bt. and Mary Harriet Hemans.² She married Francis Murray, son of Francis Murray, on 3 August 1905.¹ She died on 8 July 1938.¹
     From 3 August 1905, her married name became Murray.

     Francis Murray lived at South Kensington, London, England.¹

     Francis Murray was the son of Francis Murray.² He married Felicia Harriet Tancred, daughter of Sir Thomas Selby Tancred, 8th Bt. and Mary Harriet Hemans, on 3 August 1905.¹ He died before 1938.¹

     Gwendoline Sybil Tancred was born on 19 October 1868.¹ She was the daughter of Sir Thomas Selby Tancred, 8th Bt. and Mary Harriet Hemans.² She died on 8 February 1959 at age 90, unmarried.¹

     Edith Mary Tancred was the daughter of Sir Thomas Selby Tancred, 8th Bt. and Mary Harriet Hemans.² She died on 30 January 1957, unmarried.¹
