     Erastus Lathrop was born on 23 May 1772 at Windham, Connecticut, U.S.A.^G.¹ He was the son of Ebenezer Lathrop, Jr. and Deborah Lathrop.¹ He married Judith Crafts, daughter of Griffin Crafts, in 1801 at Cherry Valley, Otsego County, New York, U.S.A.^G.¹ He died on 16 October 1830 at age 58 at Greenfield, Indiana, U.S.A.^G.¹

     Edward William O’Brien was born on 24 January 1837.¹ He was the son of Hon. William Smith O’Brien and Lucy Caroline Gabbett.² He married, firstly, Mary Spring Rice, daughter of Hon. Stephen Edmond Spring Rice and Ellen Mary Frere, on 8 September 1863.¹ He married, secondly, Julia Mary Marshall, daughter of James Garth Marshall, on 31 January 1880.² He died on 21 January 1909 at age 71.²
     He graduated from Dublin University, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland, with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)¹ He held the office of High Sheriff of County Limerick in 1869.¹ He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of County Limerick.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for County Limerick.¹ He lived at Cahirmoyle, County Limerick, Ireland.¹

     Grace Dorothy Davies Gilbert was born in 1891 at Eastbourne, Sussex, England^G.¹ She was the daughter of Carew Davies Gilbert and Grace Catherine Rose Massy-Dawson.¹

     William Dermod O’Brien was born on 10 June 1865.¹ He was the son of Edward William O’Brien and Mary Spring Rice.² He married Mabel Emmeline Smyly, daughter of Sir Philip Crampton Smyly and Hon. Selina Maria Plunket, on 8 March 1902.¹ He died on 5 October 1945 at age 80.¹
     He was educated at Harrow School, Harrow, London, England.¹ He was educated at Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England.¹ He was president of the Royal Hibernian Academy between 1910 and 1945.¹ He was an artist.¹ He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of County Limerick.¹ He held the office of High Sheriff of County Limerick in 1916.¹

     Sir Philip Crampton Smyly was born on 17 June 1838 at 8 Ely Place, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland.² He was the son of Josiah Smyly and Ellen Franks.² He married Hon. Selina Maria Plunket, daughter of John Span Plunket, 3rd Baron Plunket of Newton and Charlotte Bushe, on 1 February 1864.³ He died on 8 April 1904 at age 65.³
     He graduated with a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.)³ He was appointed Fellow, Royal College of Surgeons of Ireland (F.R.C.S.I.)¹ He was appointed Knight in 1892.² He was Surgeon-in-Ordinary to Queen Victoria in Ireland between 1895 and 1901.²

     Mabel Emmeline Smyly was the daughter of Sir Philip Crampton Smyly and Hon. Selina Maria Plunket.² She married William Dermod O’Brien, son of Edward William O’Brien and Mary Spring Rice, on 8 March 1902.¹ She died on 8 December 1942.¹
     From 8 March 1902, her married name became O’Brien.

     Brendan Edward O’Brien was born on 11 January 1903.¹ He was the son of William Dermod O’Brien and Mabel Emmeline Smyly.² He married Pamela Kathleen Helen Wilmer, daughter of Major Harold Gordon Wilmer and Alice Violet McEntire, on 10 October 1936 at Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland.¹ He died in 1984.¹
     He was educated at St. Bees College, Eastbourne, Sussex, England^G.¹ He graduated from Trinity College, Dublin University, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland, with a Bachelor of Medicine (M.B.)¹ He graduated from Trinity College, Dublin University, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland, in 1935 with a Bachelor of Surgery (B.Ch.)¹ He was appointed Fellow, Royal College of Physicians of Ireland (F.R.C.P.I.) in 1943.¹ He graduated from Trinity College, Dublin University, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland, in 1950 with a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.)¹

     Major Harold Gordon Wilmer was born on 7 July 1879 at Musoorie, India.² He is the son of Colonel John Randal Wilmer and Helen Florence Gordon.² He married Alice Violet McEntire on 21 April 1909 at Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland.² He died on 5 July 1915 at age 35 at Gallipoli, Turkey, killed in action.²
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant in 1902 in the 14th Prince of Wales Own, Ferozepore Sikhs.² He gained the rank of Captain in 1908.² He gained the rank of Major in the 14th KGO Sikhs.¹ He fought in the Gallipoli Campaign.²

     Pamela Kathleen Helen Wilmer was born on 7 August 1910.² She was the daughter of Major Harold Gordon Wilmer and Alice Violet McEntire.^3,2 She married Brendan Edward O’Brien, son of William Dermod O’Brien and Mabel Emmeline Smyly, on 10 October 1936 at Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland.¹ She died in 1982.¹
