     Admiral Sir George Knightley Chetwode was born on 10 December 1877.¹ He was the son of Lt.-Col. Sir George Chetwode, 6th Bt. and Alice Jane Bass.² He married, firstly, Alice Clara Vaughan-Lee, daughter of Major Vaughan Hanning Vaughan-Lee and Clara Elizabeth Moore, on 4 February 1908.¹ He married, secondly, Elizabeth Jane Taylor, daughter of Frederick Taylor, on 13 January 1939.¹ He died on 11 March 1957 at age 79.¹
     He fought in the Boxer Rebellion in 1900.¹ He fought in the First World War, where he was mentioned in despatches.¹ He was awarded the Order of St. Stanislaus of Russia 2nd Class with swords.¹ He was awarded the Legion of Merit.¹ He was awarded the Hellenes Medal of Military Merit.¹ He was appointed Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.)¹ He gained the rank of Rear-Admiral in 1928.¹ He was Aide-de-Camp to HM King Geoge V in 1928.¹ He was Naval Secreatary to the First Lord of the Admirallty between 1929 and 1931.¹ He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of the Bath (K.C.B.)¹ He was commanding officer of the 1st Cruiser Squadron, Mediterranean Fleet between 1932 and 1933.¹ He gained the rank of Vice-Admiral in 1933.¹ He was Admiral Commanding of the Reserves between 1933 and 1936.¹ He gained the rank of Admiral in 1936.¹

     Lady Laura Elliot-Murray-Kynynmound was born on 11 March 1956.¹ She is the daughter of Gilbert Edward George Lariston Elliot-Murray-Kynynmound, 6th Earl of Minto and Lady Caroline Child-Villiers.¹ She married John Reginald David Palmer, son of William Alexander Palmer and Cherry Anne Gibbs, on 23 February 1984.¹
     From 23 February 1984, her married name became Palmer.¹ She lived in 2003 at The New House, Carlton Curlieu, Leicestershire, England.¹

     Hugh Samuel Roger Elliot-Murray-Kynynmound was born on 3 April 1881.¹ He was the son of Hugh Frederick Hislop Elliot-Murray-Kynynmound and Mary Euphemia Long.¹ He married Rosa Maud Chesterfield, daughter of N. Chesterfield, on 26 July 1906.¹ He died on 6 May 1930 at age 49, as the result of an aeroplane accident.¹

     Rosa Maud Chesterfield was the daughter of N. Chesterfield.¹ She married Hugh Samuel Roger Elliot-Murray-Kynynmound, son of Hugh Frederick Hislop Elliot-Murray-Kynynmound and Mary Euphemia Long, on 26 July 1906.¹ She died on 14 June 1937.¹
     Her married name became Elliot-Murray-Kynynmound.

     P/O Herbert Hugh Elliot-Murray-Kynynmound was born on 3 June 1909.¹ He was the son of Hugh Samuel Roger Elliot-Murray-Kynynmound and Rosa Maud Chesterfield.¹ He married Kate Marjorie Iles, daughter of Reverend Vernon Iles, on 14 December 1939.¹ He died on 13 July 1942 at age 33, killed in action.² He was buried at Nanyuki War Cemetery, Nanyuki, Kenya^G.²
     He graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)¹ He gained the rank of Pilot Officer in the Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve.² He fought in the Second World War.¹

     Kate Marjorie Iles was the daughter of Reverend Vernon Iles.¹ She married P/O Herbert Hugh Elliot-Murray-Kynynmound, son of Hugh Samuel Roger Elliot-Murray-Kynynmound and Rosa Maud Chesterfield, on 14 December 1939.¹ She died in 1972.¹
     Her married name became Elliot-Murray-Kynynmound.

     Reverend Vernon Iles lived at South Marston, Swindon, Wiltshire, England^G.¹

     Patricia Elliot-Murray-Kynynmound was born on 27 November 1940.¹ She is the daughter of P/O Herbert Hugh Elliot-Murray-Kynynmound and Kate Marjorie Iles.¹ She married Major Ieuan Davies, son of Evan Richard Davies, on 20 March 1964.¹
     From 20 March 1964, her married name became Davies.¹ She lived in 2003 at Fistral, Southway, Windmill, Padstow, Cornwall, England.¹

     Nina Emily Elliot-Murray-Kynynmound was born on 4 July 1882.¹ She was the daughter of Hugh Frederick Hislop Elliot-Murray-Kynynmound and Mary Euphemia Long.¹ She married Sir Charles Lennox Somerville Russell, son of Captain Theodosius Stuart Russell and Louisa Charlotte Emily Blomefield, on 12 September 1907.¹ She died on 19 July 1976 at age 94.¹
     Her married name became Russell.
