     Sir Nicholas Carew, 1st Bt. was born on 6 February 1686/87.¹ He was the son of Sir Francis Carew and Anne Boteler.¹ He married Anne Hacket, daughter of Nicholas Hacket, before 1712.¹ He died on 18 March 1726/27 at age 40 at Beddington, Surrey, England^G.¹ He died intestate and his estate was administered on 7 April 1727.¹
     He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Haslemere between 1708 and 1710.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Haslemere between 1714 and 1722.¹ He was created 1st Baronet Carew, of Beddington, co. Surrey [Great Britain] on 11 January 1714/15.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Surrey between 1722 and 1727.¹

     Sir Francis Carew was born circa 1663.¹ He was the son of unknown Carew.¹ He died on 29 September 1689.¹

     Anne Boteler is the daughter of William Boteler.¹
