Sir John Wray, 2nd Bt. was born in 1586.2 He was the son of Sir William Wray, 1st Bt. and Lucy Montagu.2 He married Grisella Bethell, daughter of Sir Hugh Bethell, in September 1607.2 He died in December 1655.2
He was appointed Knight on 7 June 1612.2 He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Wray, of Glentworth, co. Lincoln [E., 1611] on 13 August 1617. He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Lincolnshire in 1625.2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Lincolnshire from 1628 to 1629.2 He held the office of High Sheriff of Lincolnshire.2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Lincolnshire between 1640 and 1648.2 He lived at Glentworth, Lincolnshire, England.1
