     Fred William Pitt is the son of Charles Ambrose Pitt and Mary Ann Madgwick Polson.¹ He married Florence Marguerite Clarke, daughter of Douglas Alexander Lind and Elizabeth Clarke, on 15 July 1920 at Boulogne sur Mer, Belgium^G.¹

     General Sir John Josiah Hort, 3rd Bt. was born on 14 January 1824.¹ He was the son of Sir Josiah William Hort, 2nd Bt. and Louisa Georgiana Caldwell.² He died on 5 January 1882 at age 57, unmarried.¹
     He fought in the Crimean War.¹ He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.)¹ He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Hort, of Castle Strange, co. Middlesex [G.B., 1767] on 24 August 1876.¹

     Sir William Fitzmaurice Josiah Hort, 4th Bt. was born on 20 January 1827.¹ He was the son of Sir Josiah William Hort, 2nd Bt. and Louisa Georgiana Caldwell.² He married, firstly, Harriett Lydia Stevenson, daughter of Reverend Charles Butler Stevenson, on 2 June 1866.¹ He married, secondly, Katherine Anne Villiers Wade, daughter of John Wade, in 1874.¹ He died on 18 September 1887 at age 60, without issue.¹
     He was a practising barrister.¹ He was Resident Magistrate, Ireland between 1854 and 1856.¹ He succeeded as the 4th Baronet Hort, of Castle Strange, co. Middlesex [G.B., 1767] on 5 January 1882.¹

     Ian Stewart Mitchell-Innes was born in 1947.¹ He is the son of Norman Stewart Mitchell-Innes and Patricia Rossiter.² He married Diana D. Brooke Dean.¹
     He lived at Dymock, Gloucestershire, England.¹

     Harriett Lydia Stevenson was the daughter of Reverend Charles Butler Stevenson.² She married Sir William Fitzmaurice Josiah Hort, 4th Bt., son of Sir Josiah William Hort, 2nd Bt. and Louisa Georgiana Caldwell, on 2 June 1866.¹ She died on 28 June 1870.¹
     From 2 June 1866, her married name became Hort.

     Lt.-Col. Sir Fenton Josiah Hort, 5th Bt. was born on 27 March 1836.¹ He was the son of Sir Josiah William Hort, 2nd Bt. and Louisa Georgiana Caldwell.² He died on 3 February 1902 at age 65, unmarried.¹
     He was commissioned in 1857.¹ He was Lieutenant-Colonel of the 3rd Battalion, Royal Inniskilling Fusiliers.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for County Kildare.¹ He succeeded as the 5th Baronet Hort, of Castle Strange, co. Middlesex [G.B., 1767] on 18 September 1887.¹

     Fenton Hort was born on 3 August 1794.¹ He was the son of Sir John Hort, 1st Bt. and Margaret Aylmer.² He married Anne Collett, daughter of Reverend Anthony Collett, on 25 April 1825.¹ He died on 18 March 1873 at age 78.¹
     He held the office of High Sheriff of County Dublin in 1834.¹ He lived at Leopardstown, County Dublin, Ireland.¹ He lived at St. John’s Mount, Breconshire, Wales.¹

     Reverend Anthony Collett lived at Kelsall Hall, Suffolk, England.¹

     Anne Collett was the daughter of Reverend Anthony Collett.² She married Fenton Hort, son of Sir John Hort, 1st Bt. and Margaret Aylmer, on 25 April 1825.¹ She died on 23 June 1866.¹
     From 25 April 1825, her married name became Hort.

     Fenton John Anthony Hort was born on 23 April 1828.¹ He was the son of Fenton Hort and Anne Collett.² He married Fanny Henrietta Holland, daughter of Thomas John Dyson Holland, on 14 May 1857.¹ He died on 30 November 1892 at age 64.¹
     He graduated with a Doctor of Law (LL.D.)¹ He graduated with a Doctor of Divinity (D.D.)¹ He graduated with a Doctor of Civil Law (D.C.L.)¹ He was Hulsean Professor and Lady Margaret Reader of Divinity at Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England^G.¹ Cambridge, Fell Emmanuel College.¹
