     Anthony Thorold was the son of Sir William Thorold, 1st Bt. and Anne Blythe.² He married Grisilla Wray, daughter of Sir John Wray, 2nd Bt. and Grisella Bethell, on 19 December 1654.¹ He died before 1677.¹

     Cecil Wray is the son of Sir Christopher Wray and Albinia Cecil.

     Grisilla Wray is the daughter of Sir John Wray, 2nd Bt. and Grisella Bethell.^2,3 She married Anthony Thorold, son of Sir William Thorold, 1st Bt. and Anne Blythe, on 19 December 1654.¹
     From 19 December 1654, her married name became Thorold.

     Sir William Thorold, 2nd Bt. was born in 1659.¹ He was the son of Anthony Thorold and Grisilla Wray.² He married Rebecca Garrett on 11 March 1679/80.¹ He died in 1681, without issue.¹
     He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Thorold, of Marston, Lincoln [E., 1642] in 1677.¹

     Rebecca Garrett married Sir William Thorold, 2nd Bt., son of Anthony Thorold and Grisilla Wray, on 11 March 1679/80.¹
     From 11 March 1679/80, her married name became Thorold.

     Sir Anthony Thorold, 3rd Bt. was born in 1663.¹ He was the son of Anthony Thorold and Grisilla Wray.² He married Anna Maria Mordaunt, daughter of Thomas Harrington, on 20 August 1683.¹ He died in 1685, without issue.¹
     He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Thorold, of Marston, Lincoln [E., 1642] in 1681.¹

     Anna Maria Mordaunt was the daughter of Thomas Harrington.¹ She married, secondly, John Lewis Mordaunt.¹ She married, firstly, Sir Anthony Thorold, 3rd Bt., son of Anthony Thorold and Grisilla Wray, on 20 August 1683.¹ She died in 1689.¹
     From 20 August 1683, her married name became Thorold.

     Sir John Thorold, 4th Bt. was the son of Anthony Thorold and Grisilla Wray.² He married Margaret Waterer, daughter of John Waterer, on 7 August 1701.¹ He died on 14 January 1716/17, without issue.¹
     He succeeded as the 4th Baronet Thorold, of Marston, Lincoln [E., 1642] in 1685.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Grantham between 1685 and 1687.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Grantham between 1697 and 1700.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Lincolnshire between 1701 and 1708.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Grantham between 1711 and 1715.¹
