     Maud Letitia Mary Joicey-Cecil was born on 24 October 1906.¹ She was the daughter of Colonel Lord John Pakenham Joicey-Cecil and Isabella Maud Joicey.¹ She married Maj.-Gen. Robert Hallam Studdert, son of Hallam George Studdert and Eva Studdert, on 23 December 1930.¹ She died on 4 February 1975 at age 68.²
     From 23 December 1930, her married name became Studdert.¹

     Maj.-Gen. Robert Hallam Studdert was born on 21 November 1890.² He was the son of Hallam George Studdert and Eva Studdert.^2,3 He married Maud Letitia Mary Joicey-Cecil, daughter of Colonel Lord John Pakenham Joicey-Cecil and Isabella Maud Joicey, on 23 December 1930.¹ He died on 2 October 1968 at age 77.¹
     He was educated at Clifton College, Clifton, Bristol, England^G.³ He was educated at Royal Military Academy, Woolwich, Kent, England.³ He fought in the First World War, and was mentioned in despatches five times.³ He was awarded the Military Cross (M.C.) in 1915.¹ He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.) in 1917.¹ He was DAD Mechanisation, War Office between 1932 and 1936.³ He was commander of the 4th Field Regiment Royal Artillery between 1937 and 1939.³ He fought in the Second World War.³ He held the office of Aide-de-Camp to HM King George VI between 1944 and 1946.³ He retired from the military in 1946, with the rank of Major-General, late of the Royal Artillery.¹ He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.) in 1946.¹ He was in the Board of Trade between 1946 and 1949.³

     Hallam George Studdert was born on 20 September 1841.¹ He was the son of Robert Studdert and Elizabeth Jane Hallam.^1,2 He married Eva Studdert, daughter of Major George Studdert and Agnes Waller, on 26 October 1889.² He died on 6 February 1905 at age 63.¹
     He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)³ He lived at Hazelwood, Quin, County Clare, Ireland^G.³

     Robert Studdert was the son of Reverend Richard Studdert and Juliett Scott.² He married Elizabeth Jane Hallam, daughter of George Hallam, on 7 January 1836.² He died on 21 August 1866.¹

     He graduated from Trinity College, Dublin University, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland, in 1802 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)² He was the Rector at Ballyroan, County Laois, Ireland.² He lived at Mount Rivers, County Clare, Ireland.²

     Reverend Maurice Studdert was born in 1755.¹ He was the son of Richard Studdert and Mary Pratt.^1,2 He married Margaret Paterson, daughter of Reverend Francis Paterson, in 1777.² He died on 4 August 1803.¹

     Eva Studdert was the daughter of Major George Studdert and Agnes Waller.² She married, firstly, Hallam George Studdert, son of Robert Studdert and Elizabeth Jane Hallam, on 26 October 1889.¹ She married, secondly, Francis William Gore Hickman on 8 July 1915.² She died on 31 December 1948.¹
     From 8 July 1915, her married name became Hickman.²
