     Robert Hamilton of Barncluith married Isobel Hamilton, daughter of John Hamilton, 3rd of Orbiston and Margaret Hamilton.¹

     Her married name became Clark.¹

     Alice Georgina Caroline Strong was baptised on 26 June 1850 at Holy Trinity, Paddington, London, England^G.¹ She was the daughter of Henry Linwood Strong and Fanny Louisa Erskine.¹ She married Godfrey Lewis Clark, son of George Thomas Clark and Anne Price Lewis, in 1883 at St. George Hanover Square, London, England^G.¹
     From 1883, her married name became Clark.¹

     Margaret Hamilton is the daughter of John Hamilton, 3rd of Orbiston and Margaret Hamilton.¹ A contract for the marriage of Margaret Hamilton and John Roberton, 10th of Earnock was signed on 16 May 1594.²

     George Selby was born before 20 August 1746 at Foxton, Northumberland, England.¹ He was the son of George Selby and Mary Selby.¹ He died on 10 June 1815.¹
