Robert ‘Ruadh’ MacGregor1

Robert ‘Ruadh’ MacGregor was baptised on 7 March 1671 at Glengyle, Perthshire, ScotlandG.2 He was the son of Lt.-Col. Donald MacGregor and Margaret Campbell.1 He married Mary Helen MacGregor, daughter of Gregor MacGregor of Comer, on 1 January 1693 at Glenarklet, ScotlandG.2 He died on 28 December 1734 at age 63.2
Robert ‘Ruadh’ MacGregor also went by the nick-name of Rob Roy.2 He fought in the Battle of Glen Shiel in 1719, where he was badly wounded.2
