     Charles Stewart, 8th Earl of Traquair was born on 31 January 1781.¹ He was the son of Charles Stewart, 7th Earl of Traquair and Mary Ravenscroft.¹ He married Elizabeth Mary Johnstone on 28 April 1818 at Coldstream, Scotland^G.² He died on 2 August 1861 at age 80.¹
     He succeeded as the 8th Earl of Traquair [S., 1633] on 14 October 1827.¹ He succeeded as the 8th Lord Linton and Caberston [S., 1633] on 14 October 1827.¹ On his death, the Earldom of Traquair became dormant or extinct. In a footnote in the Complete Peerage, however, there is a reference to a marriage.

     John Hubert Charles Dormer was born on 21 January 1901.¹ He was the son of John Hubert Aloysius Dormer and Virginia Sinclair Tankerville-Chamberlaine Bey.¹ He died on 3 September 1905 at age 4.¹

     Charles Henry Aloysius Dormer was born on 6 June 1906.¹ He was the son of John Hubert Aloysius Dormer and Virginia Sinclair Tankerville-Chamberlaine Bey.¹ He married, firstly, Mary Johnson in 1930.¹ He and Mary Johnson were divorced in 1946.¹ He married, secondly, Jane Loutitt Ellis in 1946.¹ He and Jane Loutitt Ellis were divorced in 1948.¹ He married, thirdly, Mary Johnson in 1948.¹ He and Mary Johnson were divorced in 1991.¹ He died on 25 November 2000 at age 94.¹

     Mary Johnson married, firstly, Charles Henry Aloysius Dormer, son of John Hubert Aloysius Dormer and Virginia Sinclair Tankerville-Chamberlaine Bey, in 1930.¹ She and Charles Henry Aloysius Dormer were divorced in 1946.¹ She married, secondly, Charles Henry Aloysius Dormer, son of John Hubert Aloysius Dormer and Virginia Sinclair Tankerville-Chamberlaine Bey, in 1948.¹ She and Charles Henry Aloysius Dormer were divorced in 1991.¹
     She lived at Ottawa, Ontario, Canada^G.¹ Her married name became Dormer.

     Richard Joseph Thaddeus Dormer was born on 12 February 1913.¹ He was the son of John Hubert Aloysius Dormer and Virginia Sinclair Tankerville-Chamberlaine Bey.¹
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Royal Naval Volunteer Reserve.¹ He was awarded the Distinguished Service Cross (D.S.C.)¹

     Olivette Ferdinande Mary Dormer was born on 23 June 1902.¹ She was the daughter of John Hubert Aloysius Dormer and Virginia Sinclair Tankerville-Chamberlaine Bey.¹ She married S/Ldr. Eugene Joseph McLoughlin, son of Eugene McLoughlin, on 20 February 1928.¹ She died on 18 November 1938 at age 36.¹
     Her married name became McLoughlin.

     S/Ldr. Eugene Joseph McLoughlin was the son of Eugene McLoughlin.¹ He married Olivette Ferdinande Mary Dormer, daughter of John Hubert Aloysius Dormer and Virginia Sinclair Tankerville-Chamberlaine Bey, on 20 February 1928.¹ He died on 25 August 1980.¹
     He gained the rank of Squadron Leader in the Royal Air Force.¹
