     Daphne Buxton was born in 1905.² She was the daughter of Edward Gurney Buxton and Laura Gurney.³ She married Captain Russell Thomas Harmer, son of Sir Sidney Harmer and Laura Russell Howell, on 10 October 1929.¹ She died on 19 August 1998.¹
