     Richard Evelyn was born in 1590.¹ He was the son of George Evelyn and Joan Stint.² He married Eleanor Stansfield, daughter of John Stansfield.¹ He died in 1640.¹
     He held the office of High Sheriff of Surrey in 1634.² He held the office of High Sheriff of Sussex in 1634.²

     Eleanor Stansfield was born in 1599.¹ She was the daughter of John Stansfield.² She married Richard Evelyn, son of George Evelyn and Joan Stint.¹ She died in 1635.¹
     Her married name became Evelyn.¹

     Sir John Evelyn was born in 1555.¹ He was the son of George Evelyn and Rose Williams.¹ He married, firstly, Elizabeth Stevens, daughter of William Stevens.¹ He married, secondly, Susanna (?)¹ He died in 1627.¹
     He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.)¹

     George Evelyn was born in 1530.¹ He was the son of John Evelyn and unknown daughter Vincent.¹ He married, firstly, Rose Williams, daughter of Thomas Williams.¹ He married, secondly, Joan Stint.¹ He died on 30 May 1603.¹
     In 1545 he was graned a Government monopoly for the manufacture of gunpowder.¹ He lived at Long Ditton, Surrey, England^G.¹

     Ann Boscawen was the daughter of Edward Boscawen and Jael Godolphin.¹ She married Sir John Evelyn, 1st Bt., son of John Evelyn and Martha Spencer, on 18 September 1705.² She died in January 1751.¹
     From 18 September 1705, her married name became Evelyn.²

     Gillian Wood married Christopher John Suenson-Taylor, 3rd Baron Grantchester, son of Kenneth Bent Suenson-Taylor, 2nd Baron Grantchester and Betty Moores, on 10 November 2001.¹
     After her marriage, Gillian Wood was styled as Baroness Grantchester on 10 November 2001. From 10 November 2001, her married name became Suenson-Taylor.¹

     Colonel Henry Dawson Moorhead was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.)¹

     Mary Dowthwaite was the daughter of John William Dowthwaite.¹ She married Gordon Kirwan Kirwan-Taylor, son of Alfred George Taylor and Mary Kirwan, on 3 November 1956.¹ She died on 19 January 1998.¹
     From 3 November 1956, her married name became Kirwan-Taylor.¹
