     Mara Henrietta Suenson also went by the nick-name of Mamie.¹ From 26 May 1920, her married name became Taylor. After her marriage, Mara Henrietta Suenson was styled as Baroness Grantchester on 30 June 1953.

     Kenneth Bent Suenson-Taylor, 2nd Baron Grantchester was born on 18 August 1921.¹ He was the son of Alfred Jesse Taylor, 1st Baron Grantchester and Mara Henrietta Suenson.² He married Betty Moores, daughter of Sir John Moores and Ruby Knowles, on 12 April 1947.¹ He died on 12 August 1995 at age 73.¹

Monica Esmé Ebba Taylor was born on 17 January 1926.¹ She is the daughter of Alfred Jesse Taylor, 1st Baron Grantchester and Mara Henrietta Suenson.² She married Graeme Austin Spotswood Parish, son of George Richard Parish, on 31 March 1951.¹ She and Graeme Austin Spotswood Parish were divorced in 1965.¹
     She was educated at Queen’s College, London, England^G.¹ She graduated from Newnham College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England^G, in 1947 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)¹ She graduated from Newnham College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England^G, in 1950 with a Master of Arts (M.A.)¹ From 31 March 1951, her married name became Parish.
