     John Robertson, 6th of Lude was the son of John Robertson, 5th of Lude and Margaret Ogilvy.2 He married Marjory Robertson, daughter of Charles Robertson of Clunie.3 He married Beatrix Gardyne of that Ilk, daughter of George Gardyne of Gardyne and Banchory, circa 1550.2 He died before 1587.2
     When still a minor, he was induced by his mother and her brother, Sir Patrick Ogilvie of Inchmartin, to resign the barony to Sir Patrick.4 It is possible that Marjorie was mother of all of his children.3
