     John Forbes, 3rd of Newe was the son of William Forbes, 2nd of Newe and Margaret Gordon.2 He married Isobel Burnett, daughter of unknown Burnett of Leys.1 He died on 28 January 1616.1
     He built the first house at Newe.1 John Forbes, 3rd of Newe also went by the nick-name of John ‘Bluebonnet’.1

     Alexander Forbes, 4th of Newe was the son of John Forbes, 3rd of Newe and Isobel Burnett.2 A contract for the marriage of Alexander Forbes, 4th of Newe and Janet Robertson was signed on 12 April 1612.1,3 He died on 14 November 1654.1
     He also had three daughters.1

     Alexander Robertson, 7th of Lude was the son of John Robertson, 6th of Lude and Marjory Robertson.3,2 He married Agnes Gordon, daughter of Alexander Gordon, 4th of Abergeldie and Janet Irvine.3 He died in 1615.3
     He lived He obtained the lands of Ballyhaldat in the barony of Abergeldie through his marriage.4 He was also known as Alexander Robertson of Inchmagranoch.4 In 1565 he was served heir.4 In 1596 he had a charter of Finlairge, in Cromer, Aberdeenshire.4
