     Maud Lothian Nicholson was born in 1874.¹ She was the daughter of General Sir Lothian Nicholson and Hon. Mary Romilly.¹ She died on 18 December 1949.²

     Susannah Elizabeth Knight was born in 1762.¹ She married John Hussey Delaval, 1st Baron Delaval of Seaton Delaval, son of Francis Blake Delaval and Rhoda Apreece.¹ She died in 1822.¹

     John Crawfurd of Kilbirnie was the son of Malcolm Crawfurd of Kilbirnie and Margaret Cunningham.¹ He died in 1622.¹

     John Blair of that Ilk was the son of John Blair of that Ilk and Grizel Sempill.² He married Isabel Boyd, daughter of Thomas Boyd, 6th Lord Boyd of Kilmarnock and Marion Campbell, on 5 July 1589.^3,2 He died in January 1604.²
