     George Scott was born on 10 July 1673.1 He was the son of Sir Thomas Scott and Caroline Carteret.1 He married, firstly, Anne Pemberton, daughter of Sir Francis Pemberton, in May 1706 at Scott’s Hall, Kent, EnglandG.1 He married, secondly, Cecilia Dering, daughter of Sir Edward Dering, 3rd Bt. and Elizabeth Cholmley, at Scotts Hall, Kent, EnglandG.1 He died on 1 March 1728 at age 54.1
