     Richard Molyneux, 5th Viscount Molyneux was born on 29 May 1679.1 He was the son of William Molyneux, 4th Viscount Molyneux and Bridget Lucy.1 He married Mary Brudenell, daughter of Francis Brudenell, Lord Brudenell and Lady Frances Savile.2 He died on 12 December 1738 at age 59.1
     He succeeded as the 5th Viscount Molyneux, of Maryborough in the Queen’s County [I., 1628] on 8 March 1718.1 He succeeded as the 6th Baronet Molyneux, of Sefton, Lancashire [E., 1611] on 8 March 1718.1
