     Evelyn Mary Synge was born on 3 August 1884.¹ She was the daughter of Edward John Hutchinson Synge and Leila Camilla Pemberton.² She married Brig.-Gen. Alick Gurdon Kemball, son of Charles Gurdon Kemball and Grace Charlotte Turner, on 23 October 1911.¹ She died on 8 September 1965 at age 81.¹
     From 23 October 1911, her married name became Kemball.

     Sir Thomas Scott was born circa 1638.¹ He was the son of Edward Scott and Lady Catherine Goring.¹ He married Caroline Carteret, daughter of Sir George Carteret, 1st Bt. and Elizabeth Carteret, on 16 July 1663 at French Church, Savoy, London, England^G.¹ He died circa 1688.¹

     Brig.-Gen. Alick Gurdon Kemball was born on 16 October 1869 at Queensborough Terrace, London, England^G.² He was the son of Charles Gurdon Kemball and Grace Charlotte Turner.^3,2 He married Evelyn Mary Synge, daughter of Edward John Hutchinson Synge and Leila Camilla Pemberton, on 23 October 1911.¹ He died on 11 November 1949 at age 80.
     He gained the rank of Brigadier-General in the Indian Army.¹

     Olive Marguerite Synge was born on 12 January 1886.¹ She was the daughter of Edward John Hutchinson Synge and Leila Camilla Pemberton.² She married Claud Barton, son of Dr. Samuel Josiah Barton, on 20 June 1908.¹
     From 20 June 1908, her married name became Barton.

     Dr. Samuel Josiah Barton lived at Norwich, Norfolk, England^G.¹

     Claud Barton was the son of Dr. Samuel Josiah Barton.² He married Olive Marguerite Synge, daughter of Edward John Hutchinson Synge and Leila Camilla Pemberton, on 20 June 1908.¹ He died on 25 February 1962.¹
     He was with the Egyptian Civil Service.¹

     Andrew Synge Barton was born on 25 March 1909.¹ He was the son of Claud Barton and Olive Marguerite Synge.² He married Gertrude Ursula Désirée Winch, daughter of Major Gordon Bluett Winch, on 23 September 1939.¹ He died in December 2000 at age 91 at Norwich, Norfolk, England.³
     He was educated at Winchester College, Winchester, Hampshire, England^G.¹ He graduated from Magdalene College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England^G, in 1931 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)¹ He was educated at Royal Military Academy, Woolwich, Kent, England^G.¹ He gained the rank of Major in the Royal Engineers.¹ He fought in the Second World War.¹ He was appointed Fellow, Institution of Civil Engineers (F.I.C.E.)¹

     Major Gordon Bluett Winch was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.)¹

     Gertrude Ursula Désirée Winch is the daughter of Major Gordon Bluett Winch.² She married Andrew Synge Barton, son of Claud Barton and Olive Marguerite Synge, on 23 September 1939.¹
     From 23 September 1939, her married name became Barton.

     Christopher Synge Barton was born on 1 June 1942.¹ He is the son of Andrew Synge Barton and Gertrude Ursula Désirée Winch.² He married Catherine Anne Royden, daughter of Sir John Ledward Royden, 4th Bt. and Dolores Catherine Coward, on 14 July 1965.² He and Catherine Anne Royden were divorced in 1979.²
     He was educated at Stowe School, Buckingham, Buckinghamshire, England^G.¹
