     He was educated at Fettes College, Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland^G.¹ He fought in the Second World War.¹ He retired from the military in 1946, with the rank of Major, late of the Irish Guards.¹ He lived in 1976 at Cork Hill, Clara, County Offaly, Ireland.¹

     Meleigha Clare Josephine Maki was born in 2006 at China.¹ She is the daughter of Matthew Maki Mackie and Nicole Marie Seguin.¹

     Ann de Montmorency Armstrong-Lushington-Tulloch is the daughter of Kinmont Willie Armstrong-Lushington-Tulloch.² She married Douglas Fergus Goodbody, son of Joseph Harold Goodbody and Mary MacLellan, on 17 September 1949.¹
