     Jean Johnston was the daughter of W. B. Johnston.² She married Sir Robert Gardner, son of John Gardner, in April 1880.¹ She died on 23 August 1893.¹
     From April 1880, her married name became Gardner.

     Sir Christopher Calthorpe is the son of James Calthorpe and Katherine Lewknor. He married Dorothy Spring, daughter of Sir William Spring, 1st Bt. and Elizabeth le Strange.¹
     He was appointed Knight, Order of the Bath (K.B.)¹

     Dorothy Hatt Noble Campbell was the daughter of Major Henry George Lyon Campbell.¹ She married Captain George Henry Gardner, son of Sir Robert Gardner and Jean Johnston, on 12 August 1912.¹ She married Colonel Cyril Halsted Frith, son of Walter Halsted Frith, on 3 November 1925.¹ She died in September 1968.¹
     From 12 August 1912, her married name became Gardner. From 3 November 1925, her married name became Frith.¹

     Mary North is the daughter of Dudley North, 4th Baron North and Anne Montagu.^1,2 She married Sir William Spring, 2nd Bt., son of Sir William Spring, 1st Bt. and Elizabeth le Strange.¹
     Her married name became Spring.¹

     Hon. Charles North was the son of Charles North, 5th Baron North and Catharine Grey.¹ He died in 1708, at the Siege of Lisle, unmarried.¹

     Jane Mabel Gardner was the daughter of Sir Robert Gardner and Jean Johnston.² She married Edward Rotheram, son of Edward Rotheram, on 6 February 1907.¹ She died on 2 April 1943.¹
     From 6 February 1907, her married name became Rotheram.

     Edward Rotheram was born on 25 November 1828. He died on 4 June 1904 at age 75.
     He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)¹ He lived at Crossdrum, County Meath, Ireland^G.¹
