He lived at Pakenham, Suffolk, EnglandG.1 He was appointed Knight by King Charles I.1 He held the office of High Sheriff of Suffolk in 1641.2 He was created 1st Baronet Spring, of Pakenham, Suffolk [England] on 11 August 1641.1 He was a supporter of Parliament during the Civil War.2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Bury St. Edmunds between 1645 and 1648, when he was secluded by Pride’s Purge.2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Suffolk in 1654.2
