     Guy William John Farquhar was born on 27 January 1899.1 He was the son of Granville Frederick Richard Farquhar and Helen Margaretta Livingston.1 He married, firstly, Daphne Mary Christian Henry, daughter of Colonel Vivian Henry and Gladys Mary Milbank, on 11 July 1928.1 He and Daphne Mary Christian Henry were divorced in 1947.1 He married, secondly, Vera Kathleen Waldock, daughter of John Waldock, on 22 September 1961.1 He died on 1 April 1962 at age 63.1
