     Francis Richard Sutton was born on 27 March 1853 at Wiseton, Nottinghamshire, England.1,2 He was the son of Reverend Robert Sutton and Charlotte Nelthorpe.3 He married Edith Louisa Pryor, daughter of Arthur D. Pryor and Elizabeth Sophia Dew, in 1881.1 He died on 20 August 1923 at age 70.1
