     Lady Louise Kerr was born on 30 November 1768.¹ She was the daughter of General William John Kerr, 5th Marquess of Lothian and Elizabeth Fortescue.¹ She married Arthur Atherley, son of Arthur Atherley and Susanna Carter, on 2 June 1793.¹
     From 2 June 1793, her married name became Atherley.¹
