     Jane Mary Catherine Guise was the daughter of Sir John Guise, 1st Bt. and Elizabeth Wright.² She married Edward Webb on 27 July 1807.¹ She died in 1814.¹

     William Harvey Cobbett was born in 1880 at Macclesfield, Cheshire, England.² He married Charlotte Gwendoline Frances Hope, daughter of Charles Hope and Leonora Louisa Isabella Orde, in November 1917 at Cirencester, Gloucestershire, England.¹
     He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Army Service Corps.¹

     Lt.-Col. John Thomson was born on 27 July 1786 at Orwell, Kinross-shire, Scotland^G.¹ He was the son of William Thomson and Catharine Beveridge.¹ He married Bathurst Burrell, daughter of William Burrell and Christian Morgan, on 20 May 1808 at St. Cuthbert’s, Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland^G.¹ He died on 19 April 1839 at age 52 at Shikapur, Upper Scind, India^G, from heat stroke on the march to Kabul.¹
     He gained the rank of Colonel in the |Honourable East India Company Service.¹

     Sir William Vernon Guise, 4th Bt. was born on 19 August 1816.² He was the son of General Sir John Wright Guise, 3rd Bt. and Charlotte Diana Vernon.² He married Margaret Anna Maria Lee-Warner, daughter of Reverend Daniel Henry Lee-Warner, on 27 June 1844.² He died on 24 September 1887 at age 71.²
     He was appointed Fellow, Geological Society (F.G.S.)² He was appointed Fellow, Linnean Society (F.L.S.)² He succeeded as the 4th Baronet Guise, of Elmore Court, Gloucester [G.B., 1783] on 1 April 1865.² He gained the rank of Colonel-Commandant in the Royal South Gloucestershire Militia.²

     Henry Burrell Thomson was born on 19 October 1821 at Mullye, Nepal.¹ He was the son of Lt.-Col. John Thomson and Bathurst Burrell.¹ He was baptised on 24 January 1822 at Dinapore, West Bengal, India^G.¹ He died on 21 March 1840 at age 18 at Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland^G.¹

     Clare Isabel Mansell-MacCulloch was born in 1892 at Câhel, Guernsey, Channel Islands.¹ She was the daughter of Dr. William Mansell-MacCulloch and Ellen Selina Beveridge Thomson.¹ She married Captain Peter Johnston-Saint, son of James Saint, on 15 February 1915 at St. George Hanover Square, London, England^G.¹
     From 15 February 1915, her married name became Johnston-Saint.¹

     Dr. William Mansell-MacCulloch was born on 10 January 1849 at Alicante, Spain^G.¹ He married Ellen Selina Beveridge Thomson, daughter of Thomas Hutchins Thomson and Margaret Elizabeth Mandeville Hackett, on 12 February 1884 at St. Andrew’s Church, Sharrow, Sheffield, Yorkshire, England^G.¹ He died on 26 March 1924 at age 75 at Bournemouth, Dorset, England^G.¹
     He was given the name of William MacCulloch at birth.¹ He graduated with a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.)¹ He held the office of Jurat of the Royal Court.¹

     William Verner Guise was born on 1 October 1856.¹ He was the son of Major Henry John Guise and Frederica Verner.² He married Emilie Annie Viner, daughter of Lee Viner, in 1879.¹ He died on 12 October 1935 at age 79.¹
