     From 27 June 1844, her married name became Guise.

Christopher Dering Guise was born on 3 April 1855.1 He was the son of Sir William Vernon Guise, 4th Bt. and Margaret Anna Maria Lee-Warner.2 He married Ella Emily Letitia Napier, daughter of Vice-Admiral Gerard John Napier and Ella Louisa Wilson, on 30 July 1903.1 He died on 1 February 1926 at age 70.1
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, EnglandG.1 He fought in the Boer War between 1900 and 1902.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel and Honorary Colonel in the 3rd Battalion, Gloucestershire Regiment.1 He was with the British Red Cross Society during the First World War.1
