     Charles Hope was born on 18 July 1845.¹ He was the son of Maj.-Gen. Frederick Hope and Elisa Johanna Catherine Cockburn.² He married Leonora Louisa Isabella Orde, daughter of Reverend Leonard Shafto Orde and Anna Maria Charlotte St. Paul, on 13 April 1871.¹ He died on 2 December 1912 at age 67.¹
     He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Northumberland.¹

     Lillian Cole Bartley was born in 1867 at Ealing, London, England.¹ She was the daughter of Sir George Christopher Trout Bartley and Mary Charlotte Cole.¹

     Leonora Louisa Isabella Orde was born circa 1836.² She was the daughter of Reverend Leonard Shafto Orde and Anna Maria Charlotte St. Paul.^3,2 She married Charles Hope, son of Maj.-Gen. Frederick Hope and Elisa Johanna Catherine Cockburn, on 13 April 1871.¹ She died on 22 November 1901.¹
     From 13 April 1871, her married name became Hope.

     Frederick Jocelyn Hope was born on 12 April 1872.¹ He was the son of Charles Hope and Leonora Louisa Isabella Orde.² He married Hilda Mary Bellamy, daughter of Reverend Hugh Bellamy, on 4 May 1901.¹ He died on 1 November 1952 at age 80, without issue.¹
     He was educated at Loretto School, Muselborough, East Lothian, Scotland^G.¹ He was educated at Merton College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G.¹

     Reverend Hugh Bellamy was the Chaplain at Royal Naval Hospital, Great Yarmouth, Norfolk, England^G.¹

     Hilda Mary Bellamy was the daughter of Reverend Hugh Bellamy.² She married Frederick Jocelyn Hope, son of Charles Hope and Leonora Louisa Isabella Orde, on 4 May 1901.¹ She died in 1968.¹
     From 4 May 1901, her married name became Hope.

     Charles Henry Sawyer Hope was born on 1 May 1880.¹ He was the son of Charles Hope and Leonora Louisa Isabella Orde.² He married Olive Lois Godwin, daughter of Arthur Francis Godwin, on 5 November 1913.¹ He died on 12 October 1964 at age 84.¹
     He was Paris representative, RAC.¹

     Olive Lois Godwin was the daughter of Arthur Francis Godwin.² She married Charles Henry Sawyer Hope, son of Charles Hope and Leonora Louisa Isabella Orde, on 5 November 1913.¹ She died on 4 March 1954.¹
     From 5 November 1913, her married name became Hope.

     Jaqueline Hope was born in 1914.² She is the daughter of Charles Henry Sawyer Hope and Olive Lois Godwin.³
     She was with Naval Voluntary Aid Detachment during the Second World War.¹
She was State Registered Physiotherapist at Norwich Hospital, Norwich, Norfolk, England^G.¹ She was Superintendant Physiotherapist between 1953 and 1955 at University College Hospital, Jamaica^G.¹
