Theobald Bourke, 3rd Viscount Mayo1 
He was educated at Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG.3 He was created Baronet Bourke [Scotland] circa 1638, however there is no record of this creation in the Great Seal.2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for County Mayo [Ireland] between 1640 and 1649.2,3 He succeeded as the 3rd Viscount Mayo [I., 1627] in 1649.3 He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Bourke [S., c. 1638] in 1649.2 In December 1652 he was found guilty by Cromwell’s High Court of Justice, in Connaught, of murders committed in hte rebellion.3 His last will was dated 6 March 1691.

Francis Bermingham, 14th Lord Athenry1 
He succeeded as the 14th Lord Athenry [I., c. 1280] on 3 May 1709.1 On 19 June 1709 he was conformed to the Established Church [Ireland].1

Sir Adomar of Strathbogie1 
He was Member of Parliament (M.P.) and Sheriff Northumberland.2 He was granted lands of Mitford and Marderfen, Northumberland, which had belonged to his mother.2 In 1360 he was granted Manor of Filton by his nephew, 12th Earl of Atholl.2 He had two daughters.1
Thomas Nugent, 4th Earl of Westmeath1 
He gained the rank of Colonel of Foot in the King James II’s army in Ireland.2 On 11 May 1691 he was outlawed.2 He fought in the Siege of Limerick, in command of a cavalry regiment.2 In 1697 his outlawry was reversed.2 He succeeded as the 4th Earl of Westmeath [I., 1621] before April 1714, during his brother’s lifetime on the grounds that as a professed religion he was legally dead.2 He succeeded as the 9th Baron Delvin [I., 1451] in April 1714.2

Sir Alexander Balliol1 
He lived at Cavers, Roxburghshire, ScotlandG.2 He held the office of Lord Chamberlain [Scotland]. On 12 October 1301 at Berkhamsted, Hertfordshire, EnglandG, he was a prisoner.1 On 28 March 1310 he was released from the Tower, with his father as surety for his loyalty.1

Sir Maurice de Berkeley1 
Sir Maurice de Berkeley also went by the nick-name of Maurice ‘the Resolute’.1 He fought in the French Wars.1 He was appointed Knight before 1242.1 He gained the title of Lord de Berkeley [feudal baron] in 1243.1 On 14 December 1243 he had livery of his father’s lands.1 He fought in the war in North Wales.1 In 1264 he joined the Barons against King Henry III.1
