     Henry Lakin was born on 13 December 1811.² He was the son of Henry Lakin and Ann Isabella Lyon.³ He married Rebecca Mary Greaves, daughter of John Greaves and Mary Whitehead, on 1 May 1845 at Radford Semele, Warwickshire, England^G.¹ He died on 8 October 1891 at age 79.²
     He lived at Malvern, Worcestershire, England.²
