Sir Courtenay Bourchier Vyvyan, 10th Bt.1 
He fought in the First Boer War in 1879.2 He fought in the Matabele War in 1896, where he was mentioned in dispatches.2 He fought in the Boer War between 1899 and 1902.2 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel and Brevet Colonel in the Royal East Kent Regiment.2 He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.) in 1906.2 He fought in the First World War, where he was mentioned in dispatches three times.2 He was appointed Companion, Order of St. Michael and St. George (C.M.G.) in 1915.2 He succeeded as the 10th Baronet Vyvyan, of Trelowarren, Cornwall [E., 1645] on 27 May 1917.1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Cornwall.2 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Cornwall.2
