     Lt.-Gen. Sir George St. Patrick Lawrence was born on 17 March 1804 at Sri Lanka.^2,3 He was the son of Lt.-Col. Alexander William Lawrence and Catherine Letitia Knox.² He married Charlotte Isabella Browne, daughter of John Browne, on 3 April 1830 at Kurnaul, Bengal, India.³ He died on 16 November 1884 at age 80 at Kensington, London, England.^2,3 He was buried at St. Martin Churchyard, Northstoke, Somerset, England.⁴
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Bengal Staff Corps.² He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.)² He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of the Star of India (K.C.S.I.)¹

     Letitia Angelina Lawrence was born on 1 January 1834.² She was the daughter of Lt.-Gen. Sir George St. Patrick Lawrence and Charlotte Isabella Browne.^3,2 She was baptised on 20 January 1834 at Neemuch, Bengal, India.² She married Lt.-Col. Henry Erskine Forbes-Mitchell of Kinmundy, son of Henry David Forbes-Mitchell of Balgownie and Margaret Fraser of Fraserfield, on 12 April 1855.¹ She died on 29 October 1857 at age 23.¹
     From 12 April 1855, her married name became Forbes-Mitchell.

     Margaret Isabella Forbes-Mitchell was the daughter of Lt.-Col. Henry Erskine Forbes-Mitchell of Kinmundy and Letitia Angelina Lawrence.² She died on 25 October 1927, unmarried.¹

     Louisa Letitia Forbes-Mitchell was the daughter of Lt.-Col. Henry Erskine Forbes-Mitchell of Kinmundy and Letitia Angelina Lawrence.² She married Captain Christian Ernst Arp von During on 7 October 1879.¹ She died in 1936.¹
     From 7 October 1879, her married name became von During.

     Captain Christian Ernst Arp von During married Louisa Letitia Forbes-Mitchell, daughter of Lt.-Col. Henry Erskine Forbes-Mitchell of Kinmundy and Letitia Angelina Lawrence, on 7 October 1879.¹

     Margaret Moir Forbes-Mitchell was baptised on 26 November 1824 at Old Machar, Aberdeenshire, Scotland^G.² She was the daughter of Henry David Forbes-Mitchell of Balgownie and Margaret Fraser of Fraserfield.³ She married Alexander Kinloch Forbes, son of John Forbes-Mitchell of Thainstone and Ann Powell, on 25 March 1846.¹ She died on 1 November 1904 at age 79.¹
     From 25 March 1846, her married name became Forbes.

     Alexander Kinloch Forbes was born on 7 July 1821.¹ He was the son of John Forbes-Mitchell of Thainstone and Ann Powell.² He married Margaret Moir Forbes-Mitchell, daughter of Henry David Forbes-Mitchell of Balgownie and Margaret Fraser of Fraserfield, on 25 March 1846.¹ He died on 31 August 1865 at age 44.¹
     He held the office of High Court Judge [Bombay].¹ He was with the Bombay Civil Service.¹

     Rachel Louisa Forbes-Mitchell was baptised on 5 April 1826 at Old Machar, Aberdeenshire, Scotland^G.² She was the daughter of Henry David Forbes-Mitchell of Balgownie and Margaret Fraser of Fraserfield.³ She married Maj.-Gen. Francis Gregor Urquhart, son of John Urquhart of Craigston and Isabella Moir of Scotstown, in 1848.¹
     From 1848, her married name became Urquhart.

     Maj.-Gen. Francis Gregor Urquhart was born in 1813.² He is the son of John Urquhart of Craigston and Isabella Moir of Scotstown.² He married Rachel Louisa Forbes-Mitchell, daughter of Henry David Forbes-Mitchell of Balgownie and Margaret Fraser of Fraserfield, in 1848.¹ He died in 1889, without male issue.²
     He gained the rank of Major-General in the Royal Regiment of Foot.¹ He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.)²

     Emmeline Forbes-Mitchell was born on 29 May 1827.² She was the daughter of Henry David Forbes-Mitchell of Balgownie and Margaret Fraser of Fraserfield.³ She was baptised on 20 July 1827 at Old Machar, Aberdeenshire, Scotland^G.² She married Reverend John Gabriel Ryde on 29 April 1851.¹ She died on 4 April 1881 at age 53.¹
     From 29 April 1851, her married name became Ryde.
