     Margaret Forbes was baptised on 12 March 1823 at Old Machar, Aberdeen, Aberdeenshire, Scotland^G.² She was the daughter of Alexander Forbes and Janet Forbes.³ She married M. F. Anderson on 30 July 1840.¹ She died on 10 December 1843 at age 20, without issue.¹
     From 30 July 1840, her married name became Anderson.

     M. F. Anderson married Margaret Forbes, daughter of Alexander Forbes and Janet Forbes, on 30 July 1840.¹

     Henry David Forbes-Mitchell of Balgownie was born on 12 November 1790.¹ He was the son of Duncan Forbes-Mitchell of Thainstone and Katherine Ann Fraser.² He married Margaret Fraser of Fraserfield, daughter of Alexander Fraser of Fraserfield and Mary Christina Moir, on 27 May 1816.² He died on 24 July 1869 at age 78.¹
     He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)¹ He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.)¹ He had two other daughters (who died unmarried.)¹

     Alexander Fraser of Fraserfield was born on 8 January 1761.² He was the son of William Fraser of Fraserfield and Rachel Kennedy.² He married Mary Christina Moir, daughter of George Moir, on 20 April 1795.² He died on 18 July 1807 at age 46.²
     He was in the Honourable East India Company Service.² He lived at Fraserfield, Aberdeenshire, Scotland.²

     Margaret Fraser of Fraserfield was the daughter of Alexander Fraser of Fraserfield and Mary Christina Moir.² She married Henry David Forbes-Mitchell of Balgownie, son of Duncan Forbes-Mitchell of Thainstone and Katherine Ann Fraser, on 27 May 1816.² She died on 19 August 1839.¹
     From 27 May 1816, her married name became Forbes-Mitchell.¹

     Duncan Forbes-Mitchell of Balgownie was born on 7 October 1817.¹ He was baptised on 7 October 1817 at Old Machar, Aberdeenshire, Scotland^G.² He was the son of Henry David Forbes-Mitchell of Balgownie and Margaret Fraser of Fraserfield.³ He married Janet Dyce Forbes, daughter of Robert Forbes of Castleton, on 23 March 1847.¹ He died on 2 July 1893 at age 75, without issue.¹
     He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)¹

     Robert Forbes of Castleton lived at Castleton, Kincardineshire, Scotland^G.¹

     Janet Dyce Forbes was the daughter of Robert Forbes of Castleton.² She married Duncan Forbes-Mitchell of Balgownie, son of Henry David Forbes-Mitchell of Balgownie and Margaret Fraser of Fraserfield, on 23 March 1847.¹ She died on 11 July 1899.¹

     Alexander Forbes-Mitchell was born on 9 November 1818.¹ He was the son of Henry David Forbes-Mitchell of Balgownie and Margaret Fraser of Fraserfield.² He was baptised on 21 November 1818 at Old Machar, Aberdeenshire, Scotland^G.³ He died, young.¹

     Lt.-Col. Henry Erskine Forbes-Mitchell of Kinmundy was born on 14 July 1821.¹ He was the son of Henry David Forbes-Mitchell of Balgownie and Margaret Fraser of Fraserfield.² He was baptised on 31 July 1821 at Old Machar, Aberdeenshire, Scotland^G.³ He married Letitia Angelina Lawrence, daughter of Lt.-Gen. Sir George St. Patrick Lawrence and Charlotte Isabella Browne, on 12 April 1855.¹ He died in 1891.¹
     He gained the rank of Major in the 21st Hussars.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)¹ He lived at Kinmundy, Aberdeenshire, Scotland^G.¹
