     Jane Radcliffe was born illegitimately circa 1610.¹ She was the daughter of Robert Radcliffe, 5th Earl of Sussex and Frances Meautys.² She married, secondly, Dr. unknown Lewes.¹ She married, firstly, Sir Anthony Radcliffe, son of Sir John Radclyffe, on 7 June 1623.¹ She died after 1674.¹
     Her married name became Lewes.¹ She inherited with her first husband the Attleborough estate from her father.¹

     Sir Anthony Radcliffe is the son of Sir John Radclyffe. He married Jane Radcliffe, daughter of Robert Radcliffe, 5th Earl of Sussex and Frances Meautys, on 7 June 1623.¹
     He lived at Ordsall, Lancashire, England^G.¹ He was appointed Knight, Order of the Bath (K.B.)¹

     Anne Calthorp is the daughter of Sir Philip Calthorp.² She married Henry Radcliffe, 2nd Earl of Sussex, son of Robert Radcliffe, 1st Earl of Sussex and Lady Elizabeth Stafford, before 21 November 1538.¹ She and Henry Radcliffe, 2nd Earl of Sussex were divorced before 13 November 1555.¹
     From before 21 November 1538, her married name became Radcliffe.¹ After her marriage, Anne Calthorp was styled as Countess of Sussex on 27 November 1542.

     Egremont Radcliffe was the son of Henry Radcliffe, 2nd Earl of Sussex and Anne Calthorp.² He died at Namur, Belgium^G, put to death by order of Don John of Austria.¹
     He took part in the failed rebellion of the Northern Earls, and fled the country.¹

     Sir Thomas Mildmay was the son of Thomas Mildmay and Avicia Gunson.² He married Frances Radcliffe, daughter of Henry Radcliffe, 2nd Earl of Sussex and Anne Calthorp.¹ He died in 1608.¹
     He lived at Moulsham, Essex, England^G.¹

     David Roy is the son of Harry Roy and Dayang Elizabeth Brooke.¹

     Sir Thomas Mildmay, 1st and last Bt. was the son of Sir Thomas Mildmay and Frances Radcliffe.² He died in 1625, without issue.¹
     He lived at Moulsham, Essex, England^G.¹ He was created 1st Baronet Mildmay [England] on 29 June 1611.

     Sir Henry Mildmay was born circa 1585.¹ He was the son of Sir Thomas Mildmay and Frances Radcliffe.² He married Elizabeth d‘Arcy, daughter of Thomas d‘Arcy and Camilla Guicciardini.¹ He died in 1654.¹
     He succeeded as the 15th Lord FitzWalter [E., 1295] on 22 September 1629, de jure.¹ On 9 August 1641 he unsuccessfully petitioned Parliament for the title of Lord FitzWalter.¹ On 17 June 1645 he again unsuccessfully petitioned Parliament.¹ He lived at Moulsham, Essex, England^G.¹
