Vice-Admiral Sir Adolphus Slade1 
He was in the Turkish service with title of Ferik and appellation Muschaver Pasha.2 He gained the rank of Lieutenant in 1827 in the Royal Navy.2 He wrote the book A Cruise on the Black Sea with Captain Pasha, published circa 1831.2 He wrote the book Turkey Greece and Malta: Records of travels in the East, published 1837, in 2 volumes.2 He gained the rank of Commander on 23 November 1841.2 He gained the rank of Captain on 10 January 1849.2 He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of the Bath (K.C.B.) on 18 August 1858.1,2 He was awarded the Knight, Order of the Medjidie and Osmanieh 2nd Class.1 He gained the rank of Rear-Admiral on 2 April 1866.2 He retired from the military on 6 April 1873, with the rank of Vice-Admiral.1,2 He wrote the book Turkey and the Crimean War.1

Charlotte Susan Slade1 
Charlotte Susan Slade was born on 20 July 1795.3 She was the daughter of General Sir John Slade, 1st Bt. and Anna Eliza Dawson.4 She was baptised on 13 August 1795 at St. Anne’s, Soho, London, EnglandG.3 She married Joseph Henri François Milliet, Marchese de Faverges on 6 April 1823 at Paris, FranceG.1,3 She died on 17 November 1878 at age 83.1

Anna Eliza Slade1 
Anna Eliza Slade was born on 6 December 1797 at IrelandG.3 She was the daughter of General Sir John Slade, 1st Bt. and Anna Eliza Dawson.4 She married Wadham Penruddock Wyndham, son of Henry Penruddocke Wyndham, on 1 March 1821 at Salisbury, Wiltshire, EnglandG.1,3 She died on 7 May 1872 at age 74.1
From 1 March 1821, her married name became Wyndham.
